Product Description

Bear Glass Reflective Glass is ordinary float glass with a metallic coating that cuts off solar heat. This special metallic coating also provides a one-way mirror effect, preventing visibility from the outside and thus preserving the privacy of the building. Reflective glass is used primarily for structural glazing. The product is generally preferred for commercial buildings.

PRODUCTION PYROLITIC (ON-LINE): As it is processed online, it works out to less expensive. Pyrolytic Glass is a reflective glass that has had a coating applied to it during float glass manufacture. The coating is fused to the glass at 1200° C. It is known for its durability. It can be easily cut, heat strengthened or toughened according to your requirements. This kind of glass is sometimes referred to as "Hard Coat" Reflective.

VACUUM PROCESS (OFF-LINE): one or more coats of metal oxide are applied under a vacuum to a finished glass. The coatings applied by this technique are soft and require protection from the external environment. Their low resistance makes them better when used in a double glazing system. This kind of glass is relatively expensive. Vacuum- coated glass is available in laminated form.

Reflective heat glass is a glass that has been treated with a metallic coating to allow it to reflect heat. It is not reflective in the sense that it acts as a mirror, although some products do actually have a highly reflective surface, rather in the sense that it reflects radiation rather than absorbing it. This type of glass is used in eco-friendly construction with the goal of reducing heat gain and loss, making structures much economical to heat and cool over the course of the year. A classic use of this type of glass is in building facades. Another use for reflective glass is in rooms where the climate needs to be tightly controlled.

Reflective Glass comes in many intriguing colors to complement the architect's designs. It is suitable for storefronts, buildings fronts, glass curtain walls, etc. and blends well with metal, concrete, tiles, granite, and other building materials. Reflective glass is made by using either clear or tinted float glass.

Advantages:

  • A wide choice of external appearance and varying degrees of reflectance.
  • A multitude of combinations to satisfy specific aesthetic and performance requirements
  • Reflective surface allows occupants in the interior to see a clear exterior view throughout the daytime.
